The Rangitikei area is experiencing increasing demand for its land to plant and produce a wide variety of vegetables both for the fresh and processing market. The demand is due to soil quality, location, availability of water plus a sheltered area with a unique microclimate. Currently, the farm produces, lettuces, cabbages, broccoli, potatoes, pumpkin, coriander and parsley.
