The Dalrymple’s plant annually approximately 600ha of crop under Centre-pivot irrigators. The soil types and the availability of water results in above average yields being achieved. Crops planted vary from year to year depending on demand.  Both feed and malting barley, maize wheat, seed and garden peas, sweet corn currently being the main cereal crops produced. Fodder and sugar beet, as well as Oats, are also grown annually for animal feed.
